WELCOME Hello and welcome to my site for publishers, authors, and anyone in need of beautifully designed books or products! My name is Janice Phelps Williams. Since 1998, I have been working with authors and publishers to produce their books, expertly, quickly, and professionally. I am a designer and an editor and, therefore, can handle all aspects of book production. Although I do have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, the experience necessary to professionally undertake all the details and technical components of book production, not to mention the ins and outs of pub dates, could only have come from the many books I have "brought to life." I prefer that phrase because there really is nothing quite like working at the details sentence by sentence; tweaking the cover from one vibrant hue to another; capturing the names of this bookstore manager who might be interested in ordering, to that Community Relations Manager who might book a signing— all the delightful tasks involved until that wonderful day when the delivery man brings a plain-looking box to your home or office, you open it with expectation, and there is your book, looking even better than you expected!I know what is involved in publishing a book. It is not always an easy process. It is not always a trouble-free process. But it can be rewarding, financially, professionally, and psychologically, and I would love to explore the options available to you for your book. If you have a viable manuscript — but do not want to spend the time needed to learn the complex business of publishing — hire me to meet the challenges you face, as have many other authors.
